Enjoy stunning views of Flensburg Fjord right from the campsite, treat yourself to a traditional South Jutland coffee after a stroll along the Gendarmstien trail, or take a day trip across the border to Germany.

Close to the fjord and German border

Just a few kilometres from Germany, this spot is perfect for an activity-packed holiday with exciting experiences on both sides of the border. Many of the pitches offer beautiful views of the fjord – ideal for slowing down and soaking it all in. Many of the pitches overlook Flensburg Fjord, and with that view, you can't help but relax and slow down.

Activities for children

There’s plenty to keep the little ones entertained with a fun-filled playground and giant jumping pillows to bounce on. If you’re up for a bit of friendly competition, challenge someone to a game of chess or table tennis.

A walk on the Gendarme Path

Lace up your hiking boots, pack a light lunch and set off on the historic Gendarme Path. This remarkable path stretches 84 kilometres along the fjord from Padborg to Høruphav on Als, conveniently passing right by the campsite.

Southern Jutland coffee table and Dybbøl Mill

Cake enthusiasts should visit Gråsten Castle, where Den Gamle Kro serves the renowned South Jutland coffee table spread. Drop in at the nearby History Centre Dybbøl Banke, which features seasonal encounters with historical soldiers and guided tours. Wander around the ten defence positions while discovering poignant remnants from the 1848 and 1864 conflicts.

Excursion to Flensburg and Als

The Universe science park on Als is less than an hour away and is a great day out. And don't forget to stop by the town of Sønderborg with its narrow streets filled with shops and cosy cafés.

Flensburg is less than 30 minutes away from the campsite and here you can easily spend an entire day exploring the cosy city of Schleswig with Glücksburg Castle, Gottorp Castle, Hedeby Viking Museum and Dannevirke.

Cabins in Southern Jutland

Just been there from 1/6 - 14/6-2026. It was lovely and quiet = there weren't many campers. Yes, it's true that the sanitary building is well used, but everything worked as it should and I enjoyed the good showers with lovely hot water. The cleaning was impeccable. Speaking of water, I missed a few more options for tapping fresh water on the site. The site is located on a slope that has been tried to be established in terraces. With today's large caravans and cars, the individual sites are very small and the paths/roads are not particularly well marked. Will I come again. Yes, but probably not for a longer stay. A good transit site not terribly far from the motorway.

Great campsite for transit to Sweden, right on the border with Germany. Quiet and good facilities.

My wife and I stayed here Friday until Sunday in august. The campsite is in a very picturesque location and a few minutes walk from a beach. The facilities are somewhat dated but clean. The kitchen area is well equipped with several gas hobs for cooking and microwave ovens and plenty of sinks for washing up. Laundry facilities are also available although we never used them. I would have like to find a better stocked shop on the camp site. The site was very quiet. The manageress was incredibly nice and helpful. The site located pretty much away from everything but a good base if you want to travel around the local area.

Had a lovely few days at this campsite on our way up to Copenhagen, we were travelling with our dog and this location was wonderful for walks along the fjord and in the pretty local area. The amenities are basic but kept very very clean, there’s a small farm shop stall in the grounds with some very tasty local produce and a good bus service to visit nearby Flensburg. The thing that makes this campsite stand out is the helpfulness of the owner/staff, nothing was too much trouble, changing cash for the bus fares, printing timetables and offering advice (such as the bus has to be paid in cash and dogs must also have a ticket). Would highly recommend if you’re looking for a quiet rural campsite in busy Southern Denmark.

Super location for this large campsite. Amenities were more than adequate. In mid August there were not many kids but there were facilities for kids. Above all a great place for dog owners because of the lovely walks from the site. Staff were helpful and friendly. We have 3 dogs and the pitch we were allocated was on the perimeter in a corner spot, absolutely perfect.

I’m overwhelmed by the amazing service and caring by the hosts of this campsite! My motorcycle broke down on the motorway and they both arranged a cabin and also picked me up to take me to the campsite. I’m so grateful for all their help and can’t thank them enough. The cabin I stayed at was well equipped, comfortable beds and felt very clean.

The campsite is well organised and clean. They also offer WiFi everywhere on the campsite, if you pay for it. You get your WIFI authorization data directly at the reception. The campsite isn't too big but a good place to stay. There's also a small grocery store with the bare essentials like drinks etc. for a reasonable price.
