There’s no shortage of playtime here! The campsite features a jumping pillow, zip wire, slide, climbing frame, and ball court perfect for hours of active fun. And when it’s time to cool off, the swimming pool is a favourite with both kids and grown-ups alike.
Go exploring in the great outdoors
Kids and curious minds can run free in the campsite’s large forest playground - or venture into one of Denmark’s most untouched natural gems: the forest of Fosdalen. In Langdal Plantage, marked trails wind along the edge of the dunes, offering stunning views over Jammerbugt. And if you're up for a little climb, Baunehøj rewards you with a breathtaking lookout from 84 metres above sea level.

At Slettestrand and Thorup Strand, you can watch the fishermen haul their boats directly onto the beach, as they have done for many generations. The coastline's rugged beauty offers plenty of unique experiences. And after just a 20-minute bike ride, you can sip coffee and soak up the peaceful seaside atmosphere at the charming Svinkløv Badehotel.

Lovely, quiet campsite in Nordthy, with good opportunities for varied nature experiences nearby. The site is nice and appears well-maintained everywhere. The staff are nice and friendly, very accommodating. Service building neat and always well-cleaned. Definitely worth a stay. We would love to come again.

Great campsite with helpful reception. Lounge area available. Excellent Wi-Fi. Good sanitary facilities. Not far from the Hærvejen. No coins or cards needed for the showers, included in the price 👍
Great place
Amazing camp site not far from the North Sea coast. The pitches are a good size with water and electric. The facilities are superb with showers, washing up area, kitchen and dining room. Washing machines and recycling facilities all in close proximity to each other. A small and medium pool with sun loungers behind the reception and kiosk was well kept and very clean and tidy. Bread is available to order before 6 and arrives next morning fresh from the local baker around 8am. Loads to keep the kids entertained if you have little ones. There is a common room with TV and PlayStation and loads of games and enough craft stuff to keep you occupied for a few hours. Hammer beads seemed very popular. Table football was also available as well as full size football on a pitch at the end of the camp. Bikes and trikes for hire and an adventure playground with bouncy pillow. Loads of walks in the area and you are ten minutes drive from Red House beach which you can drive on. Was very popular with the big engined Toyotas and Mitsubishi 4x4! Great for kite flying too as there is often a strong breeze blowing off the sea.
Very lovely Place! We stayed only for one night but everything was clean. Extremely friendly reception! I had the feeling that other campers there didn't like young adults.

Friendly place
DCU Tranum is a smaller campsite located in Tranum town. The campsite, the staff and the facilities have only good things to say about it. Nothing is new but everything is 5 star plus. If you are into nature, walking and cycling, this is just the place. There are a few kilometers to the best beaches in Denmark. In the town there is a new and modern well-stocked Brugs. We are already looking forward to our next visit to the place Kirsten and Ulrik
