lt's a lovely site, in a fantastic location. The new facilities block is fabulous. Caravan/motorhome pitches are nicely spaced and not crowded at all. We were on Homefield. The on site shop is very well stocked and the cafe is great, when it's open. The site is quiet if your pitch is away from the boundary with the road, which is de restricted so you do get cars driving up and down at high speed. We stayed for a week and it's not really ideal for this, the surrounding area is absolutely beautiful but there's few "leisure" walks, it's largely hiker's routes, plus the Ben Nevis climb of course. There's not much to visit in the vicinity, Fort William is not a pretty town and you would only visit to buy something. There was a castle but it was closed for "structural assessment" and a cable car but that was closed as well due to the wind. There's a couple of walks you can do, if like us you're only wanting to take a couple of hours, one along the river to the visitor centre and one at the end of the Glen to a waterfall. ln the forest you can do the "Braveheart" route. But if you are hiking or going up Ben Nevis it's perfect. Sadly it rained every day we were there and there wasn't a great deal to do, but you can't blame the site for that. The restaurant next door is very nice. You do need to book if you want a meal as it fills up with tourists and hikers visiting for the day.

Great campsite in an amazing location. Beautiful surroundings and perfect for campervans with fantastic mountain views. An ideal starting point for the Ben Nevis hike, with great facilities and clean amenities. Would definitely stay again.

We booked a 1 night stay here in our motorhome for a 10 night trip around Scotland. The facilities on site here were the best we had all holiday! A beautiful site, great location with stunning views of the surrounding mountains including Ben Nevis. Pitches are a great size, had electric hook up and water at our pitch. Even though the site is big it felt very peaceful and very well kept.

I stayed at Glen Nevis Self-Catering Park for two nights while attending the Fort William Mountain Festival, and it turned out to be the perfect base for the trip and stars! The real highlight for me was getting a clear sky in a scenic location with minimal light pollution, where I was able to step outside and capture some nighttime astrophotography. I even managed to capture my first nebula! The campsite was comfortable, even though they were only operating winter facilities. I’d happily return, whether for the festival again or simply to enjoy the surroundings.

Booked a Pod and it was so much better than a usual pod. Large space, kettle, running water, multiple plug sockets, wardrobes, underfloor heating, mattresses. So much more than we expected and made half our kit redundant! A short walk from the Ben Nevis Inn (open in winter) and on site shower facilities. Great access to Ben Nevis and Locabar mountains.

Stunning location. Fabulous pitch in the Cameron field with unbelievable views. Facilities are the best I’ve ever experienced on a campsite. Loved the showers and the indoor kitchen. 🙂 Special thank you to Sandy who helped us get power sorted when our hook up failed.
