In the trading conditions below, important information is stated in connection with your purchase at dcu.dk

Registration of personal information

When you send us an order, you must provide your name, address, mobile number and email address. We need this information in order to provide you with the necessary services or information in connection with your membership.

Thus, we will ask for your personal information in order to:

respond to questions or requests that you have sent
process orders or applications that you have sent
carry out or otherwise fulfill our obligations in connection with agreements that you have entered into with us
anticipate and resolve problems with goods or services that we provide to you
develop products or services that can fulfill your needs

In order to optimize the services we offer, we may wish to use your personal information for direct marketing.

When personal data is collected via our website, we ensure that it always happens by giving your express consent, so that you are informed about exactly what information is collected and why.

All the information we register is treated confidentially and in accordance with the Personal Data Act. The information is not passed on, but DCU keeps the registration for 5 years. You can delete cookies from your computer at any time. How you do this depends on your browser.

Children and young people under the age of 18

You must be 16 years of age to order a membership card, and if you are under 18, you must have the consent of the holder of parental authority.

Information about trading on the Internet

You can safely shop on the Internet through our online system. As a consumer, you are basically protected against any misuse of your credit card on the internet, so there is therefore no deductible for misuse of your payment card via the internet. Once you have received an order confirmation from DCU, a binding agreement has been entered into. The amount is deducted when the order has been dispatched.

Payment takes place by using one of the approved payment/credit cards - including, among others, Dankort, Visa, MasterCard, MasterCard Debit Card, American Express and Visa Elektron. Internet payments are associated with fees that international payment cards charge DCU. This means that for international Eurocard/MasterCard it is 2.75% of the transaction sum.

DCU.dk complies with NETS' guidelines for internet trading. For example, you have no deductible in the event of misuse, and you can reject an incorrect payment. Our payment module Epay is registered and approved by NETS.

Data you send in connection with purchases paid by payment card is encrypted (SSL), and thus only NETS can read it.

Price

Membership:
Family: 530, DKK per year.
Pensioners: 405, DKK per year.
Singles: 405, DKK per year.
Youth (18-25 years): 200, DKK per year.
Deal (abroad): 470, DKK per year.

The stated price is stated in Danish kroner, and it is the total price including VAT and taxes.

Shipping and Delivery

When purchasing DCU membership, you will have your membership card sent directly to the address (does not apply to Deal) that is on the membership card. Receipt is sent immediately after the purchase, if you have provided the correct e-mail address.

Right of withdrawal

The membership card is of such a personal nature that it is exempt from the 14-day right of withdrawal, cf. Act on consumer agreements § 18, subsection 2, 3, point

Complaint

Complaints must be made within a reasonable time after you have discovered the error or should have discovered the error. The deadline is 2 years after the surrender of the card, cf. Section 83, subsection of the Purchase Act. 1.

Membership period

Your membership follows the calendar year, but if you order a membership after 1 October, you will become a member in the current year and in the new year.
