Making our way from the medieval town of Pals, to the beach that bears the same name, we come across a magnificent pine forest that sits on an ecosystem of continental dunes, which in many cases exceed 20 meters in height.
The INTERPALS ECO RESORT pine forests on dunes are the closest to the Platja de Pals coastline and have the important function of serving as an ecological connector between mountain areas, wetlands and the coastline, forming a unique natural area, both for the vegetation and the size of the impressive pines, which help to stop erosion, as well as the magnificent state of conservation in which the habitat they comprise is located.
INTERPALS ECO RESORT with 9.5 hectares of interior dune where only very specific and exclusive vegetation can grow, resistant to lack of water and salinity, also serve as shelter for certain animal species. Its environmental, landscape, recreational, geomorphological, faunistic and botanical value makes INTERPALS ECO RESORT located in one of the most exceptional places on the Costa Brava.
