Good opportunity for shopping

The city at the head of the fjord Flensburg is a charming city, beautiful with its old city Centre and its noble traditions. However even though it is an old city, there is a lot of energy. Take a stroll along the pedestrian street, where there is always plenty of life. There are many fine shops, and often street entertainment. Many pleasant restaurants and cafés are located on the lovely harbour. Markets are held on the city squares. You always feel welcome in Flensburg. Flensburg has almost 100.000 inhabitants and is the shopping place for half a million people.

‘Mojn’ is the used greeting in Southern Jutland, where it is used at any time of day, It is used as a hello, a goodbye and a passing greeting. In western Southern Jutland, ‘mojn’ is predominantly a goodbye. The double greeting ‘mojn, mojn’ is mostly used in Schleswig-Holstein, where it is spelt ‘Moin’. It is never used to say goodbye. ‘Moin’ and ‘Moin - Moin’ corresponds to ‘Guten Tag’, which is also used as a passing greeting.
