Shopping and experiences
The two largest towns on Djursland are Grenaa and Ebeltoft. This is the location of most cultural events, the largest supermarkets and lots of specialist shops. Other towns are worth visiting too, though. You will not go amiss if you go to Rønde, Auning or Allingåbro. Supermarkets and specialist shops there are plenty of here too. Each of these smaller towns has its own distinctive character and it is often there that you can find many of Djursland’s attractions and interesting experiences. The old town in Ebeltoft is not just pleasant, it is actually rather beautiful, with the old City Hall building right in the middle of the town centre like a jewel in the crown. But you should also bear in mind that one of the reasons why there are so many half-timbered houses left standing is because the sailors and the workmen who lived there were once so poor that they could not afford building new ones.

Charming Ebeltoft
DCU-Camping Mols is an unusually well equipped campsite laid out on hilly ground with both sun and shelter. Splendid facilities and plenty of activities for big and small alike. Open air swimming pool with water slide and paddling pool, large playground, chair lift and lots of sports. Covered terrace. Kiosk. One week is hardly enough if you want to make it all – relaxing on the site and days out in lovely Djursland.
